The Humboldt Villa is a listed neo-baroque factory owner's villa in Lüdenscheid. The built-over area of 960sqm houses the gourmet restaurant Kosmos and is home to the Rotary Club of Lüdenscheid.

Following the wish of the client and operator to equip the listed neo-baroque factory owner's villa with state-of-the-art technology, only luminaires with LED technology were used. The greatest challenge in this project was the accentuated, intimate table lighting in the conservatory. The precise light control using lens technology enables a light spot diameter of 70cm from a height of 7 metres with a power of only 8 watts. The DALI lighting control can be operated from anywhere using a smartphone or tablet. The villa itself as well as the striking trees in the 6000sqm park in the centre of Lüdenscheid were strongly accentuated as a stage.
