We provide our services as consultants, lighting designers and lighting planners with a focus on hotels, restaurants and passenger ships. In accordance with the usual menu there, you will find below the services we offer, from which you are welcome to put together your own menu. Consulting
Moderation and mediation between the design and technical planning partners in the early project development phase as a basis for decision-making and securing the design idea
Basic evaluation
- Review and familiarisation with the planning status of the architect, interior designer and electrical engineer with regard to the lighting and illumination concept.
- Site visit
Pre-planning
- Coordination of the planning status with the architect, interior designer, electrical engineer and client with regard to the lighting concept
- Coordination of tasks and objectives with architect, interior designer, electrical engineer and client regarding the lighting concept
- Creation of a light and lighting concept with special consideration of light and room effects, illuminance levels and the human perception
- Adjustment of the planning status of the architect, interior designer and electrical engineer with regard to the formulated objective of the lighting concept.
- Participation in the cost estimation of the lighting and illumination system
Design planning
- Preparation of the design planning with regard to the creative lighting concept
- Creation of lighting calculations and simulations
- Determination of suitable lamp technologies with regard to colour temperature, colour rendering, efficiency and economy
- Selection of relevant lamp and luminaire manufacturers
- Organisation and participation in sampling with regard to lighting effects and types of luminaires
- Creation of the planning of a lighting control system along with components and operating elements
- Participation in the cost calculation of the lighting and lighting system
Design planning / special services
- Preparation of economic efficiency and amortisation calculations comparing different lamp technologies of the lighting system
- Creating visualisations of the architectural and interior design with a focus on the lighting effect
Implementation planning
- Moderation of the creative draft for technical implementation
- Implementation planning on the basis of the creative design planning
- Implementation planning with regard to the design lighting concept
- Determination of luminaire manufacturers and types
- Participation in the development of special luminaires and involvement of relevant luminaire manufacturers
- Participation in the determination of switching and dimming circuits of the light and lighting system or light scenarios as a basis for a lighting control system
- Basic programming of a lighting control system
Preparation of the award
- Participation in the preparation of performance specifications with regard to the lighting and illumination system
Participation in the awarding of contracts
- Participation in the awarding of contracts with regard to checking the equivalence of alternative luminaire types offered
- Participation in the examination and evaluation of the offers with regard to the lighting and illumination system
