Burgerlich - the new concept by Vapiano founder Gregor Gerlach focuses on sustainability in raw materials and energy with his first burger restaurant in Cologne. The accentuated and energy-optimised lighting concept creates an intimate atmosphere for guests.

Invisible, narrow-beam spotlights integrated into the ceiling create an atmospheric ambience. The stage set in this way behind the high glass façade of an exposed shop on Cologne's Ringmeile creates a magical attraction for strollers and whets the appetite for burgers from sustainable production. The idea for the exclusive burger restaurant in the heart of Cologne came from Sven Freystatzky and Grogor Gerlach, who have already been successful with other gastronomic concepts. Under Freystatzky's direction, the "Gosch", the "bagel brothers" and the "Jim Block" were created, while Gerlach made a name for himself with projects such as the "Vapiano" and the "Seaside Hotels".
