The Radisson Blu Hotel in Rostock is located in the city centre and offers fantastic views of the harbour and the beautiful historic old town. We accompanied the redesign of the public areas.
As part of the redesign of the public areas reception, lobby and restaurant, the restaurant, now named KAI 40, also underwent a relaunch.
The original lighting, consisting only of diffuse recessed ceiling luminaires, was replaced by us according to our philosophy of "light to see", "light to look at" and "light to look at", creating an attractive staging of the room at all times of the day.
Thanks to the black ceiling design, the decorative luminaires seem to float in the room, thus also drawing the attention of passers-by outside the building in the dark.
Narrow-beam recessed ceiling luminaires are directed exclusively at the tables, creating an attractive and intimate dining atmosphere in the evening.
The three-dimensionally designed reception back wall is emphasised in an attention-grabbing way by the backlighting and captivates the entering guests.
