Leipzig - Goethe - Faust - Devil - Hell... Following this analogy, the guiding idea for the lighting concept was developed. Recessed floor luminaires emit their light from the depths and welcome the guest in an exciting atmosphere.
Behind the historic façade of the former trade fair building in Leipzig's city centre, a modern luxury hotel has been created, the Steigenberger Grandhotel Handelshof.
The consistent pursuit of qualitative lighting design and its implementation according to light to see, light to look at and light to look at creates an atmospheric staging with exposed areas in light as well as retreat areas for the guest, who follows the scenery calmly and relaxed.
With few luminaires - light only where it is needed.
Not only a design approach, but also an economical one.
