Martin Weiser has been in the lighting industry for over 35 years. The focus of the range of services is the creation of lighting concepts and lighting plans for the hospitality industry. He has very good contacts to industry-specific investors, architects, interior designers, property outfitters and hotel companies and is part of an international industry network. With his many years of experience in project management and as a lighting planner, he put a large number of hotel and catering projects of different classifications in the right light.
At ERCO, the world's leading manufacturer of architectural lighting, Martin Weiser was head of segment management from September 2008 to October 2014 and was responsible for business within the hotel and catering industry in Germany.
As the owner of the Planquadrat Lichtarchitektur und Gestaltung office, which provided lighting planning services for architects, planners and builders as an engineering office, he contributed to the success of a large number of projects at home and abroad as a lighting designer from 1990 to 2008.
These include hotel projects in Europe and Asia, such as the Airport Hotel in Bangkok and the Ramada Renaissance in Melakka.
On behalf of the Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ), he developed a lighting concept for the old town of Bethlehem in Palestine in 1999 and personally accompanied the implementation on site. In Germany, among other things, he created the lighting concept for the administration building of the TV station RTL in Cologne.
